This Is How I know God Exsists.

Today is New Years Eve, and I woke up this morning in such a good mood and the urge to take a walk outside, so I did. I got all bundled up, grabbed my ipod, and headed toward the pond at Stepping Stones. This is only a few blocks away from my house and the place I usually go to chill out, take time to think, pray, or even just walk around. And let me tell you, its gorgeous. If you want some down time, or time to be by yourself, this is the place to go. I took some pictures to give you a little picture in your head of what this place looks like.

How beautiful is that? When i think about places like this, i dont think of them being a five minute walk from my house. I feel so blessed to be able to go to places like this and look around and think wow, this is so beautiful and I get to experience it as often as I want. Keep in mind, i took these pictures on my little picture phone, and look how pretty they turned out anyway. There are geese in the last picture, and they were so calm even as I came closer to them walking around. The lake was even a little frozen and everything was so still and silent, and I could just feel God all around. It is truly a magical or spiritual experience, as goofy as that sounds. I love going there, its my way of getting away from the businesses of the world and just sit and be with nature and myself and God.
Just wanted to share that with ya'll.
Love you all, Katie
